Greenland FA (KAK)
Background
Kalaallit Arsaattartut Kattuffiat
(KAK, in Danish: Greenland’s Football Union) is a special federation that organizes all football in Greenland. The football association was founded on July 4, 1971. KAK’s purpose, as the unitary organization for Greenlandic football, is to officially represent Greenlandic football externally and to promote and develop Greenlandic football both nationally and internationally. The federation is led by a board of 7 members. The chairman is elected for 2-year terms at the representative meeting. Every 2 years, either 3 or 4 board members are up for election to ensure continuity on the board.
