CONIFA Women World Football Cup 2024
CONIFA are hereby proud to welcome you to the 2nd edition of the CONIFA Women World Football Cup 2024, the official World Championship for teams not affiliated with FIFA. This time played above the Arctic Circle in northern Norway. The city of Bodø became selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2024 and as a part of the celebration, the city host the CONIFA WWFC2024.
The tournament will be a massive celebration of Women in Sport and an atmosphere surrounded by values such as peace, inclusion, sustainability and friendship. For many years, Women in Sports has been undervalued and especially in marginalized communities around the world.
The CONIFA Women WFC2024 will be a unique opportunity to create new heroes and role models for in their communities and celebrate a world in peace and friendship.
Alongside the tournament, there will be numerous cultural activities in the city center in connection with the tournament.
We are also proud to announce that media channels from all over the world will arrive to Norway to cover the event. Let´s create magic for Women in Sports – it´s so well deserved.

The tournament format
The tournament will bring in our three best teams from Asia and Europe.
Székely Land, Tamil Eelam and the host FA Sapmi, will all play agaist eachother in a double header, league format.
1st and 2nd placed team will go through to the final
All matches will be livestreamed for free, with full graphics and english commentators on CONIFATV
In collaboration with the Australian based company, DRIBL, we´re honored to present the official CONIFA MATCHCENTER, filled with statistics and details about the tournament.

The stadiums
The group stage will be played at Mørkvedlia idrettspark, 15 minutes outside the city center. The stadium has a capacity of 1 500 spectators and holds a fullsize artificial turf. The area is closely connected to the College University of Bodø
On the final day, we will move to the spectacular home ground of FK Bodø/Glimt, the Aspmyra Stadium. An UEFA Europa League approved stadium and a fortress for the home team with wins against teams like AS Roma and draws against Ajax and Lech Poznan. In 2022/23 they played successfully against FC Zürich, PSV Eindhoven and Arsenal in the group stage of the UEFA European League.
CONIFA are proud to invite the world to these amazing stadiums and also happy that the city of Bodø and the club FK Bodø/Glimt shows that they are a inclusive, non-discriminantion and anti-racism society for real and want to contribute to a better world in collaboration with CONIFA.
