{"id":1649,"date":"2019-01-26T10:48:26","date_gmt":"2019-01-26T10:48:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.conifa.org\/en\/?p=1649"},"modified":"2021-08-05T12:22:50","modified_gmt":"2021-08-05T11:22:50","slug":"conifa-agm-2019-news","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.conifa.org\/en\/conifa-agm-2019-news\/","title":{"rendered":"CONIFA AGM 2019: News"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><em>The sixth\u00a0Annual General Meeting of CONIFA\u00a0took place today (Saturday 26th January 2019) in Krakow, Poland.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Attended by CONIFA football association members from around the globe, the meeting voted on measures ranging from new gender equality and code of conduct regulations, to the ratification of the first honorary members of CONIFA.<\/p>\n<p>The honorary members included prominent figures from CONIFA history, and those specifically involved in the delivery of CONIFA tournaments. In addition, CONIFA has welcomed seven new members:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Parishes of Jersey FA<\/li>\n<li>Kernow FA<\/li>\n<li>Lazistan<\/li>\n<li>Sardinia<\/li>\n<li>Republic of Chameria<\/li>\n<li>The Karen people FA<\/li>\n<li>Australian First Nations Mariya<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The minutes of the 2018 AGM were ratified by CONIFA members, as were the financial records from 2018, and the budget for 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The AGM also heard presentations from the Western Sahara FA and the Kurdistan FA, and the 2019 European Football Cup hosts Artsakh showcased their plans for the tournament.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow (Sunday 27th January 2019), the draw will take place for the 2019 European Football Cup which will is happening in Artsakh in June.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"post-meta
